Hot Wheels 7 Eleven Promotion - 2010/07/26 to 2010/08/22

yes after a few months wait, the hot wheels 7E promotion is back in town. however, i only have 3 words to describe the promotion this time - Boring Boring and Boring....

i was hoping 7E to restock new basic car wave in this promotion, but instead they restock again with the old wave (chevroletor, camaro, ratbomb) that's been hit our shore many months ago... boring....

this time around, i was just covering half of the 7E that i normally go for my 7E hunting. i really don't feel like hunting this time around, the exciment is not there anymore. it's totally not worth the energy, time and petrol for me just to hunt for a TH$.

and guess what, i went back home straight the moment i found this 2 TH cars. lol.

and it's also the only 2 hotwheels basic cars that i bought in this 7E promotion restock. lol.

well on the bright side, most of the 7E outlet restock with the new and latest hotwheels speed machines wave this time. there's a lot of cool and nice speed machines cars in this new wave. i shall post them in my next post. :)

Hot Wheels 7 Eleven Promotion - 01/03 to 28/03, 2010

a little bit too late to post this but anyway, yes 7 Eleven is having a promotion for hotwheels and matchbox again.

1. HW basic car : RM 5.90 (original price RM6.90)
2. MB basic car : RM 5.90 (original price RM6.90)

in this promotion also we'll see the introducing of hot wheels speed machines series into 7 Eleven stores which selling at RM14.90. plus a new hot wheels chevrolator wave as well. below are some of the cars that you can expect to find in the chevrolator wave.

basically there are 2 wave that 7E restock - Talladega (75% of the store) and Chevrolator (25%). rumours says that some 7E restock the Olds 5.5 wave but i really doubt it. it look more like purchase from ebay rather than found in 7E. lol.

my most favourite cars in this wave has to be the dodge charger stock car. not only it came with awesome colour and tampo, somehow its tampo also doesn't suffer from miss align or miss print problem that occur to most of the hw cars. it's just perfect!





another 2 awesome car that came in this wave. notice that the wheels of the car is actually transparent? this something that you do not normally see in hw cars. and the stock car look almost transparent in white. lol.

unlike the last promotion where each store receive a case of hot wheels, in this promotion each store only received 18 cards of hw basic cars. so the odd of scoring a TH is 4 times harder, and the odd of scoring a chevrolator TH is 16 times more harder... so you have to very very very lucky to score a TH$ in this 7E promotion.

Hotwheels 7E Promotion - The End (27/12/2009)

today marks the end of hotwheels and matchbox promotion in 7E. thanks to 7E, this promo really make hotwheels and matchbox worth the purchase. hopefully 7E will keep this same price, or even lower than this for their future promo.

also thanks to mattel which introduce the fire-eater and bone shaker wave during this 7E promo, allowing everybody to have the chance to get the cars that they want abundantly (sort of).

i always like the 7E promo. it's the time where everybody can have a chance to get the TH car and also other cars that usually hard to find in department store or hypermarket restock. i still remember it was last year around this time i score my first ever TH car - Hotbird, on the rack in 7E after 4 days the promotion started. hehe.

it's hotwheels and matchbox promotion time in 7E again! conjuction with the promotion, all of the 7E store is restocking with new hw and mb cars.

3. HW ferrari racer: RM 8.90 (original price RM14.90)

from my observation, about 70% of 7E is restocking with fire eater wave, followed by 30% of bone shaker wave.

some fun notes:
- fire eater wave came with 3 lamborghini gallardo, 3 corvette stingray but only 1 vw scirocco gt.
- bone shaker wave came with 2 green DD, 2 ford gt, 2 civic but only 1 moris mini.
- there are some fire eater wave that's no TH in it.

with so many 7E out there restocking with so many nice cars, this is definetely the best time to grab your favourite hw and mb cars!

Hotwheels 7E Promotion - The End (23/08/2009)

it has been almost a month since 7E started the ramadan promotion on HW/MB cars. and today mark the last day of the promotion in 7E. i do most of my hw/mb car hunting in the first 3 days of the promotion. after that, i just randomly drop by into the 7E that i pass by.

for those of you frequently hunt in 7E, i'm sure you'll ask this question when you wailk into 7E - "bang/dik/kak, ada stock hw lagi tak?" (mean is there any more hw stock that's not been displayed?). i'm sure you'll get some familiar/same answer from the staff. haha. i hereby present you the top 10 answer from the 7E staff:
