Maisto Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Gathering!

there was a secret maisto mitsubishi lancer evolution gathering in one of the department store today. 4 different kind of maisto lancer evo casting, 5 different colours. :p

it's not very usual to see so many different kind of maisto lancer evolution casting hang on the rack. i didn't bought any of those, but i'm sure this sight will not last long. :-)

i wonder why the Custom Shop series evo on the left (which is smaller size RM19.90) is more expensive than the Fifty5's series evo on the right (which is bigger size RM17.90).

to me i think the Fifty5's series look much better than the Custom Shop series.

Maisto Custom Shop Fifty5's - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

i bought this from one of the supermarket in down town KL.

i have seen some other casting such as nissan 350z, datsun, scion xb in this series, but this is the first time i saw mitsubishi lancer evolution casting in this series. bought it without even think twice. :D

you must click on the individual pic to see it in bigger size to appreciate this casting. hehe.

look at the beautiful wheels and rim. my heart melt when i saw those wheels.... :p

with the price just slightly above hot wheels speed machines (hot wheels speed machines = RM14.90, maisto custom shop fifty5's = RM17.90), i would say this casting really worth the money. and if you are lucky, you might get 20% discount on this items during our 'never ending' department store sales. :D

i was really attracted to the detail of this cars. it has so much of details, plus the tampo are neetly and nicely printed on the car. this easily put on shame to some of the more expensive and sloopy tampo of hot wheels cars.

see the comparison between the real cars. the real cars Photos Copyright ©2008 Dan Roth / Weblogs, Inc.

maisto has done a really good job on this casting which in my opinion is almost 95% accurate compare to the actual car it self. i must say i'm really impressed!

so next time while you are hunting for hot wheels cars, make sure you slow down your footstep and take a look at some of these maisto cars as well. some of the casting are beautiful and really worth every penny you spend on them. :)

Maisto Marvel Universe and Iron Man 2 Diecast Collection

this are the Maisto Marvel Universe and Iron Man 2 Diecast Collection cars that i bought last week.

come others cars that came in this 5 packs. click on below pic to see it in bigger size.

there are a lot more cars in this series. all of them are very colourful and have very nice tampo. but i don't think i want to buy them anymore cause i'm kind of dissapointed by the price and the car casting that maisto used for this series. most of the casting that masito use in this series are totally crap.... =.="

New Maisto and Mighty Mugg - 2010/08/21

these are some of the latest maisto cars that hit our shore recently - the marvel universe and iron man 2 diecast cars.

all the cars in these series are very colourful. and there are so many different characters in so many different casting which i end up don't even have any idea which one to pick. =.=" i guess there are generally 2 strategy to choose the cars in this series:
1. stick to the casting you like and just collect that casting.
2. stick to the marvell characters you like and just collect the cars that came with that characters.
if you think you like all of them and wanted to buy all, make sure you bring enough cash or credit card with you cause it's going to burn a big big hole in your wallet. lol.

well the sideback to this series are some of the cars design is totally crap and it's quite expensive. the single cared cars is almost the same price as hot wheels speed machines. =.="" nevertheless i did pick up some of the cars that i like. will show the pic in later post.

another collectible toys that hit our shore recently are these SDCC exclusive Iron Man Mark VI and SDCC exclusive Transfomers Prowl Mighty Muggs.

will show the better pic of them in my later post.

Some Random Picture On Site

nothing much, some of the pic that i took past few weeks while looking out for new hot wheels wave.

can't believe that still can find CP at this point of time...

some traces or rat and ghost. still can't find the mother of all rat. :p

new product from maisto - Fithty5 Custom Shop. i'm very impress with the its wheels and infact i think it's much better than all hot wheels rubber wheels that i've seen. too bad my camera can't take a proper close up shoot of it. very tempted to buy them but i guess i'll wait for discount first. :p

Maisto - Need For Speed Undercover - Nissan GT-R

need for speed undercover series car is produce by maisto and was release to our local market few month ago. there where a couple of car that release together in this series, but only this nissan gtr catches my eye.

i like the colour combination of this car and most importantly - its wheels. infact the wheels is the main decider for me to get this car. its rubber wheel with the chrome rim was perfect match. and the thread of the wheels is almost the same as the thread of real tyre. cool! by the way, this car is 1:64 in scale.

the side back of this need for speed undercover series car is most of the car has poor paint job. i have to go through a couple of cars before i can get the one that i'm satisfied with. so make sure you pay extra attention to the car paint job if you are buying ths car series. anyway, i'm happy with my gtr now.

i'm not a big fan of need for speed games. i played the game a couple of time and after that i never want to play it anymore. lol. i prefer grand tourismo though. hehe.
