Hotwheels 2007 TH$ - Nissan Skyline

i got this TH$ not too long ago through a trade from one of the forummer in LYN - Retrocruise. a very special thanks to him that allow me to be the new and proud owner of this TH$ Skyline!

i've been looking for this TH$ skyline for quite sometime. this car is a very popular and a chase car among the hw collector in malaysia (or maybe asia) often fetching crazy price. That is also IF you can find a person want to sell it. lol. I was once asking a seller the price of this TH$ skyline and the answer is RM150!

Hotwheels 2007 TH - Brutalistic

i like brutalistic casting very much. it look very sporty and sleek. i got attracted to it when i first saw the regular card brutalistic that came with 2008 TH drift king wave. so i just had to have the TH Brutalistic!

the "Brutalistic (EST. 1968) Speed Shop" was printed on the side and the short form of it (B.S.S) was printed at the front of the car.

Hotwheels 2009 TH - '55 Chevy

one of my favourite Hotwheels 2009 TH - '55 Chevy. i manage to get this 2 beautiful TH$ on the peg in one particular store. 2 cases of restock and both cases have a TH$. yay!

love the THICK white wall wheels of this car. note that the rear wheels is actually bigger than the front wheels.

a comparison between the reg TH with the TH$. from the glance of it, both the reg and $uper colour look almost the same. but the $uper is actually painted with spectraflame and it's a little bit darker than the reg colour.

Hotwheels Field Report - 10/06/2009

this was the 6th TH qombee that i encounter since the last 3 days. i see qombee wave everywhere!! geez.... i'm sure it will take quite sometime for those store to clear all the qombee wave stock before they are going to restock again. which mean GMC wave could be a really short wave after all. arrrgggg.... however, i'm still keeping my finger cross for GMC wave to arrive! so many nice car in the GMC wave and i really don't want to miss the boat.

anyway, i leave that TH card there for other people to score. i have way too many TH qombee already. i have decided to leave TH qombee on the rack from today onwards if i encounter them again. of course if it's TH$ then that's another story. :)

by the way, how many same TH you think is enough for you? 10? 20? 30? of course i have my own figure, but how about you?

Hotwheels Haul - 06/06/2009

went back to my hometown for a couple of days. stop by at a few 7E(7-eleven) stores on my way back home and this is what manage to find. these are not the stock left over during the Mar/Apr 09 7E hw promo, but indeed it's new hw restock in some 7E.

can somebody tell mattell we have too many qombee wave in the market already!

Hotwheels Hunting Report - 30/05/2009 Part 1

some of you may already know i collect hotwheels car. i pickup this hobby late last year after i saw those cool ferrari racer series car in one of the department store. ok cut the story short, let start my blog entry with a bang, shall we?

today i decided to do some hw hunting in those places that i seldom go hoping to find GMC wave (yeah i'm desperate for GMC wave now. lol). so, i decided to visit a place that i last visited since few months ago. in fact, this is only my second visit to that place.

upon reaching that place, i saw fresh new hw stock on the rack. even though i'm not familiar with the restock frequency of this store, i know it's fresh new stock cause those hot/popular car model is there and all the cards is still so tidy hanging on the rack. feeling so excited i do what the regular hw hunter will do - scanning for the green card! my heart was pumping fast when i start to search. as i scan through the rack, my heart start to slow down and by the time i finish scanning all the rack, my heart break..... guess what? no TH! i can see there must be at least 5 cartons of car hanging on the rack but the TH card is no where to be found! how frustrated that can be!

ok fine. i told my self somebody must have come earlier than me and it's not my luck today. so, i decided take my time and choose some reg car that i like. when i about to leave, i saw one very familiar box hiding behind some of the toys. i pull out the box and yes! my guessing was right. it was a hw toy car box.

as when i pull out the box to the floor, i was expecting a full carton of cars. but to my disappointment the box is very light and i can also hear there are only a few cards in the box. my first thought was inside must be those blimp or damage card that they cannot hang on the rack. but when i open up the box, i get the shock of my life of hw hunting! see below pic.

i know what you all are thinking. i'm thinking the same too.
