Jusco Mahkota Cheras

today is the opening day of new AEON shopping mall in Mahkota Cheras. i took some time off this morning to be there before the opening time @ 10am hoping to grab some new hw speed machine at discounted price. hehe. lot's of people gathered at the main enterance waiting for it to open but everything is under control.

when the door finally opened, can see everybody (mostly are uncle and aunties) rushing into the building as like there where free gift to be grabbed. lol. i just walk slowly into the building but headed straight to the toy department.

when i arrive at hot wheels section, i meet one collector (which i kown) that arrive just a few second earlier than me. he is the first one to arrive at the rack. after greeting him i ask him did he found any th cards? as i expected even before i steps into this jusco, there where no th cards to be found hang on the rack. a new open store, all new and fresh stock, but no th cards to be found? great! another doom jusco... anyway i'm kind of expected this already so i wasn't really surprise. i proceed to check the speed machines series but to my disapointment there were no new wave as well.

before i left, i saw 2 more collectors comming to the hw section, one of the guy was carrying MyNews plasctic bags and there were reg th ford woodie, 2 morris mini plus some others hw cars (he took out and show to another person). hmm why didn't i think of (heading to MyNews) that earlier ? :p

anyway, i just stay there about 15 minutes and left without buying anything. i think i'm the first one who leave the car park though. lol.

oh btw, to that hw collector that first arrive at the hw rack which i meet, thanks for offering me to share the Matchbox red London Bus. i really appreciate your kindness (eventhough i didn't take the offer). :)

Traces Of Rat and Ghost!

can you see the traces of rat?? hehe. yea stumble upon this new restock of ratbomb wave in jusco maluri today.

the best thing about this jusco is everytime they restock, for sure you will not find the TH on the rack except for those overloaded TH like 2008 qombee. lol. infact there was a mattel consigment staff working in this jusco toy department, so what can you expect?

anyway, this got to be the best deal in town - buy 3 ghost and free 1 camaro! :D


since we're in the field report topic, i have a short story to tell. hehe.

i was in one of the hypermarket yesterday evening and i stumble upon a guy (which in his early 30s) that's browsing through the hw rack which just recently restock with ratbomb wave. i walk pass him but i still hang around in toy section to see other toys. then i heard he is asking one of the staff there is there anymore hw that's not being display yet. and that staff lead him to a another lady staff which i think in charge of the toy section. at first it's all cool because sometime we did the same thing asking the staff is there anymore stock. but it's not cool anymore when he start giving his phone number to that lady staff! i was like WT... this kind of collecter are the one that really spoil the fun of hunting of other collector. i really felt dissapointed and disgusted..... and guess what, i saw this same collector again in jusco maluri today. =.=""

Hotwheels Field Report - 10/11/2009

saw some interesting things in some of the department store and hypermaket today which i think worth to mention here. below pic is one of it. hehe.

some hypermarket restock hotwheels and matchbox stock today, and this Holiday Hot Rod 3 cars pack is one of the new stock that i saw for the first time in our local market. sorry for the blur pic... =.=" but don't worry i'm very sure soon this 3 cars pack will flooded in our market.


each pack consist of 3 cars, and it has a total of 8 different cars.
1. Cadillac Escalade
2. 65 Chevy Impala
3. Swoop Coupe
4. Chaparral II
5. Olds 442
6. Whip Creamer II
7. Austin Healey
8. Sweet 16

all these cars are not really my cup of tea, and with the selling price of RM19.90, i'll pass it for the time being.

some other sighting today are matchbox 5 cars pack is selling @RM10 !! that's a steal man. lol.


needless to say i bought all the matchbox 5 cars pack there. lol. i'll keep some of it and the other will be a perfect present to some children during x-mas time. hehe.


Jusco Maluri also restock 2 boxes of mustang wave today. except the mustang and DD, all the other nice car that came in this wave still hang nicely on the rack. this store is also one of the suspected doom store in my list before time will come for me to confirm it. oh btw this jusco also restock at quite a number of matchbox basic cars and it's selling at RM4.90 only. this is what i bought. new wave? hmm....



i think there's at least 3 boxes of matchbox cars restock and all are pour into a big bin. there are still a lot of nice car to grab there eg, icecream truck, mazda 2, mitshubishi l200, merc benz slr etc.

Hotwheels Field Report - 14/07/2009

the latest ferrari racer series F40 (18/24) is out. found this in tesco today. strangely there are no other new ferrari racer car that came together with this F40.


note: becareful with tesco pricing cause the price on the rack maybe showing RM10.90 (the promo price which already ended) but when they scan at the cashier counter it's RM13.90. if this happended to you, pay the RM13.90 at the cashier, then bring the car and receipt to the information counter and complain to the staff there. they'll refund you the amount differences between the rack and their system, which is what i did when i bought this F40. :D

Hotwheels Field Report - 10/06/2009

this was the 6th TH qombee that i encounter since the last 3 days. i see qombee wave everywhere!! geez.... i'm sure it will take quite sometime for those store to clear all the qombee wave stock before they are going to restock again. which mean GMC wave could be a really short wave after all. arrrgggg.... however, i'm still keeping my finger cross for GMC wave to arrive! so many nice car in the GMC wave and i really don't want to miss the boat.

anyway, i leave that TH card there for other people to score. i have way too many TH qombee already. i have decided to leave TH qombee on the rack from today onwards if i encounter them again. of course if it's TH$ then that's another story. :)

by the way, how many same TH you think is enough for you? 10? 20? 30? of course i have my own figure, but how about you?

Hotwheels Field Report - 02/06/2009

i stop by C4 Cheras on my way back home. in fact i have been doing this for almost 4 months everyday because i do not know how frequent this store restock their hotwheels. and i know since Oct 08 this store have not been receiving any new hw stock.

when i walk to the toy section, i saw a lot of new mattel box lying on the floor. however, i couldn't locate the box that contain hotwheels car. so i ask one of the staff that in charge in the toy section is there any new hotwheels stock? he straight away answer me yes got 2 boxes but no 'thunt'. i was like what? the staff know about thunt, this place must be doom.... then i start argue with him that every new box should have at least 1 thunt. but he keep insisting that no thunt this time. i was thinking if you already know what is thunt, then do you expect me to believe you that no thunt?

after a while, his co-worker bring out 2 boxes of already open and filtered stock. i physically count each of the car in both boxes and both box have only 71 cars. where is the missing 1 car? you go and figure out your self.


this C4 is selling hotwheels RM3.00 only. this price is actually for them to clear their old stock. but i guess they forget to change their system when the new stock arrive. also restock was the Disney Cartoon Cars series selling at RM10 per piece.

btw, i didn't buy anything from this store.... no mood to buy and being sick of qombee wave already...
